Alleged Baby Formula Shoplifter Arrested at Target Friday Night
The suspect also gave police a false name, police say.
A Worcester man allegedly shoplifted $60 worth of baby formula from Target's Westborough store before giving Westborough Police a false name Friday night.
Police learned Vencenzo Brancaccio's real name through a state fingerprint scan, Police Chief Alan Gordon said today.
Police arrested Brancaccio, 25, of 28 Ellsworth St., Worcester at Target, 330 Turnpike Road, at 8:35 p.m. Friday, according to the Westborough Police log.
Police charged Brancaccio with shoplifting by concealing merchandise, and furnishing a false name/Social Security number. There also was a warrant for his arrest.
