The Nov. 6 presidential and state election drew 80 percent of Westborough’s registered voters.
Official results posted on Westborough’s website today by Town Clerk Nancy Yendriga show 9,255 of 11,599 eligible voters participating last Tuesday.
“That was really remarkable. I think it’s one of the highest lately,” Selectmen Chairman Leigh Emery said Tuesday night.
Unofficial results were released last week, shortly after the election.
The final Westborough results are:
- President: Barack Obama – 5,087. Mitt Romney – 3,897
- U.S. Senate: Scott Brown – 4,839. Elizabeth Warren – 4,248
- State Senate: James Eldridge – 4,917. Dean Cavaretta – 3,321
- State Representative (Precinct 1 and Precinct 3): Steven Levy – 1,485. Danielle Gregoire – 1,508
- State Representative (Precinct 2): Carolyn Dykema – 799. Marty Lamb – 505
- Question 1: Yes – 7,135. No – 1,024
- Question 2: Yes – 4,531. No – 4,275
- Question 3: Yes – 5,367. No – 3,347
- Question 4: Yes – 5,875. No – 1,623
