5 Things: Learn About Youth Soccer

Wondering what's happening in Westborough today?

 

Each morning, Westborough Patch presents “5 Things You Need to Know,” a collection of announcements, events, reminders and odd little ditties to help you organize your day. What will you be doing today?

1. Westborough Youth Soccer holds its annual general meeting from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Forbes Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public.

2. Westborough TV and the Westborough Public Library will hold "Media Literacy Education and the Media Literacy in Schools bill," the first presentation in a year-long series focusing on media literacy, at 7 p.m.  in Room 23 of the Forbes Municipal Building. Alexis Ladd and Erin McNeill of the Mass Media Literacy Consortium will lead the talk. The session is open to the public.

3. A free seminar based on the book "The Blood Sugar Solution" by Dr. Mark Hyman will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Tatnuck Bookseller.

4. The library also hosts a Two-Time storytime for ages 2 and 3, at 10:30 a.m.

5. And the Westborough Senior Center's Photo Club meets at 1 p.m.
