1 Injured in Tuesday's I-90 Crash

The injuries were not life threatening.

A one-car accident in the Massachusetts Turnpike eastbound median in Westborough left the driver with injuries that were not life threatening Tuesday, state police said Tuesday night.

Westborough EMS took the 24-year-old Worcester man to the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester for treatment, state police said. State police did not give the driver's name.

The driver of the car, a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse, has not been cited in the crash, which happened about 1:40 p.m., state police said.

State police say they continue investigating the cause of the crash.

The crash closed two lanes of the turnpike, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation Tweeted.
